Announcing OpenDocLab Spring 2022 Lecture Series

February 2, 2022—The MIT Open Documentary Lab brings storytellers, technologists, and scholars together to explore documentary forms and processes with a particular focus on collaborative, interactive, and immersive storytelling using emerging technologies. Join the conversation at our weekly online lecture series on Tuesdays (except for next week, which is on Monday) at 12PM! For detailed descriptions of each talk and information about how to join, please follow the weekly announcements by email, on our website, and/or on social media.

The series will kick off next week on Monday, February 7th at 12PM EST with a talk from Refik Anadol, who will share his studio’s site-specific parametric data sculptures, live audio/visual performances, immersive installations, and NFTs, which collectively offer a dramatic rethinking of our environments. Learn more & register for the talk here.

All of the lectures will be livestreamed via Zoom webinar on Tuesdays from 12PM-1:30PM EST, and we will have select hybrid events that MIT CovidPass holders will be able to attend in person. In case you’re not able to attend, lectures will also be filmed and posted to our website. You can view videos of our past lectures here.
